You stop payment on a $56.94 check you need to make it right or were not gonna do business and Im gonna call the Better Business Bureau. The ball is in your court.

Rakuten does not connect
Rakuten does not connect via computer. It is an ongoing problem.
Whenever I click on Rakuten via either Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Crome, it does not open. Rakuten is very frustrating!
I will not use it anymore. Uggggg!

Rakuten advised that they had a 15% cashback offer on Samsung mobile devices back in July and August when the new Galaxy Z Fold 6 was launched. I made two orders of the Z Fold 6 ($1619.99 on Jul.
18th and $719.99 on Jul. 23rd respectively) on Samsung's official website. However, I haven't received any cashback until today, 9/6/2024. Rakuten Customer Service emailed me a couple of times saying they had connected with Samsung and were waiting for Samsung's response or solution.
On 9/6/2024, I received another email from Rakuten's Customer Service, stating that Samsung could not verify the orders. Despite providing all the necessary information such as order numbers, order details, confirmation emails from Samsung, etc., Samsung could not identify the orders which are still listed on their official website. Eventually, Rakuten decided to offer me a '$50 promotional bonus', but it required another purchase to become eligible. If you do the math, 15% of $1619.99+$719.99 is $350, and now they want to pay only $50.
On top of that, I must make another purchase to get that $50. This is ridiculous and fraudulent.
I believe Rakuten made up that discount to lure people into purchasing these expensive devices. Who knows if they have some secret arrangement at play?
- Do get some cashbacks like a couple of dollars
- Big check of cashback is no way to get
- Customer service sucks and they did not pay me
Preferred solution: Provide the cashback as they promised. Don't lie about it!

My big, fat check was not deposited into my PayPal account. Furthermore, it still has not been posted as of 11-15-2024.
I am a registered, faithful customer and am trying my hardest to get a hold of someone who will help me resolve this matter! I called support and was denied access to any assistance from the automated system, and there has been no response from the support team.

I ordered a ventilator on 29.10.2024 and paid for it directly. I had no news until yesterday when I started asking them about it.
Then, they sent me a webpage that falsely stated my order was already delivered.
When I asked for a refund, they requested a conversation that I didn't have, because they hadn't sent me anything. I'm content with the idea of not recovering my money from this poor company, but I intend to publicize them widely.
Preferred solution: Apology

There was no reason to stop payment on a check
You stopped payment on my check! And the Bank charged us a fee. I was out of state for 11 months due to my elderly parents.

I've used Rakuten for many years, going back to when they were Ebates. I never had any problems, and cash back processing and payment were always fast.
Now they have changed their process and not for the better. It seems to be set up to work against you. According to their new way of doing things, it could take up to 100 days before your cash back from a purchase is confirmed and added to your total to be paid in your next check. Right now, I am due nearly $150 for Oct-Dec, but I still haven't received credit for purchases dating back to April because they are not confirmed and are still marked as pending.
I emailed customer service to ask why and when I will be credited for all of this year's shopping trips. They gave a generic answer and ended it with an exclamation mark. So, in other words, tough luck, and they're not going to help you get paid. So out of the $150, they will only commit to pay me $26 in February, and they expect me to wait 100 days to get the rest that is owed to me.
I have decided I will not support their business and put commission money in their pockets anymore. I will no longer use them for any purchases. I will buy through a coupon and cash back program that my credit card now offers, or buy directly from the store's website.
You just can't trust or depend on them anymore. You are just a way for them to make money for themselves.

I order very often from Temu and Rakuten doesn't give cash back for months! Currently, I have 12 orders dating as far back as October that are in the 'pending' queue.
I also have two waiting for Tommy Bahama! I have sent several inquiries and the responses they give are that they wait to see if there are returns before giving cash back.
Rakuten appears not to like paying when the cash back percentages go up. They need to get on the ball!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They finally posted my points---but it takes much longer than it used to.
I have been trying to contact Rakuten about my rewards for some time now. They have orders I placed with Petsmart and CVS for over two months now, but I cannot seem to move beyond the pending period.
I have sent them the receipts multiple times, but to no avail.
When I attempted to call them, I received a recording stating that they couldn't assist me. I'm uncertain about my next steps - they owe me over $30.
- Are typically very nice to deal with
- Rewards take too long over 3 months

I put an order thru Rakuten for Ruggables
I never received any confirmation from Rakuten but my American Express had pending amt of $780.79 . I was concerned i had a duplicate order , so i tried texting and calling Rakuten ...
i was anxious my order was duplicated twice, so i was trying to get in contact with someone! Your customer service is awful !!! So i contacted Ruggables to see if an order of mine went thru ... i was contacted by email from Ruggables that my payment was oending from AmericannExpress because of an incorrect zip code ...
so they suggested i cancel the order and start over which i did thru ruggables!
Your automated system is terrible . I needed to speak with someone not an automated robot!

I booked some hotels through Expedia because Rakuten was offering 10% cashback. But 6 months later, the cashbacks have not been added and when I follow up with them through 'Contact Us' or 'Missing Cashback' forms, they submit a ticket but nothing happens. Also, there is no way to call them or follow up on the ticket, other than submitting another ticket, which goes unanswered too.

My daughter sent me a link to create an account for $40 referral fee. I purchased 2 things that night that apparently didnt qualify.
I then purchased a third item boots from Eddie Bauer that cost $75.
The referral $40 was pending on my account and my daughters then they took it away??? Its doesnt make any sense.
